A new €85M investment fund for European films

A new €85M investment fund for European films, and a new chapter for uFund and the Umedia group.

The European Investment Fund (EIF) has signed a €25M commitment as anchor investor in PYXIS Entertainment Ventures, the European Movie Boost Up Fund, in which Umedia Group is a shareholder.

At uFund, we select and structure Tax Shelter investments in audiovisual projects, drawing on the experience of the Umedia group, which is involved in around 50 productions every year.

We will bring these 22 years of expertise to PYXIS to strengthen the financing of ambitious European films of around €15M, the kind of projects that attract recognised talent, travel internationally and reach wide audiences.

We're proud to contribute, alongside Umedia Production and UFX Studios, to a new tool for European cinema.

The fund is targeting a €55M first closing and €85M in total, and the European Investment Fund's commitment is a strong validation of the model.
